Pearland Walmart evacuated after bomb threat Bomb detection units and K-9s on scene addressing threat PEARLAND, Texas – A bomb threat reported Tuesday morning led to the evacuation of a business in Pearland, according to Pearland Police Department. At around 10 a.m., the Pearland Police Department received a call claiming there was a bomb inside the Walmart located in the 1900 block of North Main. Police contacted the store, and the building was evacuated as a precaution. Authorities confirmed that no injuries have been reported. Our Sky 2 Chopper was over the scene, capturing the police presence. Bomb detection units, including K-9 teams, are currently on scene as officers investigate the threat.
